LED Sign lights the way winning CIHT Award for Technological Application

Eurosigns, formerly know as Ringway Signs, one of the leading highway maintenance providers has won the prestigious Chartered Institute of Highways and Transportation (CIHT) Technological Application award with their innovative LED Signs Solution.


In selecting Eurosigns as the winner the judging panel commented “Lighting signs comes at a cost and the judges were impressed by how Eurosigns sought to address this by integrating technologies to deliver cost and environmental benefits with this low maintenance/low energy product. Eurosigns have demonstrated enterprise and ingenuity, working closely with lighting design specialists and local authority clients to develop a solution with considerable wider implementation potential, which is likely to deliver significant benefits to the industry and society.”

Receiving the award at a glittering ceremony at Lords cricket ground, George Daville, Regional director for Eurosigns said “Eurosigns hard work on research and development has started to deliver and is a credit to our team at Weston-Super-Mare. This shows that innovation geared to lower running costs, using environmentally acceptable technology and reduced whole life costs has real market potential.
