Work Experience

Eurosigns take social responsibility very seriously and supported Heathfield Community School by welcoming and mentoring our latest work experience intern.

Harry, who is 14, expressed an interest in graphics, design and the visual aspects of Eurosigns manufacturing plant based in Weston super Mare. Along Harrys work experience journey, he has been immersed in the world of sign making, vehicle graphics and graphic design. At Eurosigns, we like to encourage, open doors and captivate imaginations. This work experience was no exception with Harry as he was tasked with creating his own product branding, designing the logo, promotional poster, and being part of the end result with a full colour image being printed on one of our production inkjets. Harry had never used design software previously but took like a duck to water with the Adobe Illustrator package that is universally standard within design companies.

When asked about his experience at Eurosigns Harrys said “It was great so see how all the signs are made in the factory”, and also commented “Using Illustrator for the first time showed me how I could make documents for school and university in the future, it really helped me create my product branding – Henry’s Honey”

We would like to thank Heathfield community school for providing us with such an excellent candidate, Harrys attitude, empathy and attention to the task and his colleagues was outstanding. He is a real credit to the school and we wish him well with whatever his future vocational role becomes. We hope that Eurosigns leaves a lasting positive impression on him, and has helped him with an insight into a fully functional world class sign manufacturing facility, and hope he will continue to develop his interest in the world of graphics and design in the future.

Thank – you Harry.
