Chapter 8


What is Chapter 8?

Chapter 8 is prescriptive code, which is considered to represent what is reasonably practicable for the enforcement of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. It includes recommendations relating to all vehicles that stop on the highways. The full document can be viewed at www.dft.gov.uk.

 

RVG can provide Chapter 8 compliant livery, as below:

  • Permanent and temporary chevron kits are available
  • Choice of micro-prismatic or engineer grade material in either full or half height kits
  • All livery kits are supplied pre-cut, with panels taped together for ease of application, have pre-marked part reference numbers and are edge sealed where required
  • All kits are supplied with an anti vandal reference labelling system for ordering replacement panels throughout the life of the vehicle
